Horseback Riding Articles
My involvement with horseback riding came from helping my young daughter when she became very interested in horse back riding as
a sport. Our adventures ranged from deciding on which horse to buy, where to board him, how to train him (and my daughter) right
through some rather interesting times when we had to give him shots.
The horses name was "Little Guy", but he was anything but little! Seventeen and a half hands in height, he loomed over me like a
monster of the midway! But, his nature was gentle and he really loved my daughter.

To make sure that our experience worked out well, both my daughter and I conducted a lot of research into the sport before she took her first
lesson. I have always enjoyed reading, and my daughter shares that love as well. So, we acquired a library of books to help us understand what
we were getting into, how best to proceed, and the result has been a lifetime love of horses, horseback riding and a horse loving husband for
her as well.
